Why Glycerin?
You may notice that most of our tinctures are non-alcoholic. Always striving for inclusivity, we've made this a priority. Whether not consuming alcohol is for medical, religious, or personal reasons, we don't want that to get in the way of our community having access to high quality & potent plant medicine. We use organic glycerin derived from flax. It's vegan as well as soy, palm, corn, and gluten free. The glycerin we use has a subtle sweetness but contains zero sugar and therefore makes our alcohol-free tinctures safe for diabetics and children (depending on the herb).
For the few tinctures that do contain alcohol, we use organic cane spirits distilled right here in Oregon.
